The mission of Gateway Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Statement of Faith
We support and believe in God the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. We believe if you confess your sins and call upon the name of Jesus and believe in Him you will have eternal life.  God loves everyone and we welcome everyone. The rest below is a more formal statement of faith.

We are united in faith, purpose and fellowship with evangelical Protestant churches worldwide, which have as their aim the winning of people to Jesus Christ and the acceptance of the Bible as the supreme rule of faith. As a profession of our faith, we believe, The Holy Scriptures as given by God are divinely inspired, infallible, trustworthy, and must be the supreme authority in all matters pertaining to the Christian faith and conduct. (Isaiah 40:7,8; Matthew 5:18,19; 2 Timothy 3:16,17; 2 Peter 1:20,21) In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 15:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Colossians 1:1-19; 2:8,9; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:1-7) In the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the Father’s right hand, and His coming return in power and glory. We believe that there is no salvation apart from the redemptive work of Jesus Christ and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:3; John 6:2; Acts 1:9-11, 2:30-32; Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 2:2,3; 1 Peter 2:22) That man by his own nature is sinful and falls short of what is required by God to enter into His Kingdom and is incapable of delivering himself from the wages of sin. However, by grace, because God desired that none perish in their sin, He made a way of escape. Salvation is appropriated by faith, with cleansing and regeneration by the Holy Spirit and total dependency on the Lord Jesus Christ and His shed blood. (John 3:16; Acts 2:21; Romans 3:23, 5:8, 6:23, 10:13: Galatians 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:8,9; Hebrews 2:2-3, 9:11-14; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 John 1:7-8, 5:1, 11,12; Revelation 1:5, 5:7-9) In water baptism it is an outward manifestation of the Holy Spirits inward work of salvation and as a total identification with the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:13-17, 28:18-20; Acts 2:38, Romans 6: 1-6) In the baptism of the Holy Spirit as promised by Jesus and first manifested on the Day of Pentecost. We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a vital experience for the believer and the growth of the church today. We believe the Holy Spirit will be followed by an outward manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-18; 1 John 3:1-3) MISSION We Christians all over the world are united by our fellowship in Jesus Christ our Lord. Our aim is to know the will of God as taught in the Holy Scriptures the Bible, with the Holy Spirit as our guide sent to lead us into the perfect will of God. We are called to go forth and make disciples of all nations, to baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and to teach people to observe all things taught to us by Jesus Christ. We are called to labor under the guidance of the Holy Spirit to advance the Kingdom of God on earth. We are called to yield ourselves to the Holy Spirit that we may be tangible examples of the love of God to all who see us. We are called to evangelize and disciple our community. We are called to support and pray for all those who labor to do the will of God and anyone under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. PURPOSE Our purpose is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to promote the praise and worship of the one true God. Our purpose is to equip the people of God for the work of ministry both here and abroad. To train, license and ordain ministers of the gospel. Our purpose is to plant churches both here and abroad and to raise up and train people for missionary work in order that the Gospel might go forth to the nations for the world. Our purpose is to establish schools of disciples to teach people how to effectively minister the Word of God. Our purpose is to become a resource center for those who are seeking tools and resources to minister the Gospel. Our purpose is to effectively reach those goals set forth in the Word of God. Our purpose is to become an organization where Christians from all walks of life and with all kinds of talents and gifting can come and serve the Lord. Our purpose is to submit ourselves completely under the headship of Jesus Christ and be a reflection of Him in this world. As a community, we’re devoted to building an engaged, passionate, spiritually healthy community of people that makes up the body of Christ. We’re also devoted to engaging and impacting one another lives, believing that Jesus himself set an example of service and that we’ve been given the responsibility to follow it.
